Dongdaemun History and Culture Park

A couple of weeks ago, my friend Mary and I got together for lunch and went to see Dongdaemun (동대문), Seoul’s east gate.  Formally known as Seoul Heunginjimun (서울 흥인지문), the fortress gate was originally built in 1398 and rebuilt in 1869.
